MicroSoft Six Standard for User Interface




Microsoft realized that for their user interface standards to be useful for programmers as well as end users, they needed to be set up in a way that made it easy for all. So Microsoft developed the Six Standards for GUI. These standards are following across the globe for User interface.
Microsoft windows standards are

1. All the objects must be properly aligned and visible
2. No overlaps among the objects
3. The labels must start with capital letters
4. Every window must have OK and Cancel buttons
5. Every window must have minimum menu item
6. Consistency must be maintained throughout the application.
